It's that time again when Hertfordshire Netball needs your help to say a massive thank you to our huge volunteer workforce who work tirelessly for netball through their dedication and to recognise their achievements in Netball. The Hertfordshire Netball Awards 2013 nominations are now open!
So get writing your nomination to say thank you!! Closing date: Friday 10th May 2013 at 5pm. Please send all your nominations to Mike Bedford bedfords11@hotmail.com or post to

  The following awards are open!

 

Award Category

Criteria

Jenny Evans Award (Coach)

Presented to a coach who has made an outstanding contribution to their club/organisation and progression of netball athletes.

Daphne Payne Award (Officials)

Presented to a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to officiating in netball.

Nextgen Award (Club)

Presented to a netball club which has made an outstanding contribution within their community.

Dorothy Broad Award (Administrator)

Presented to a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of netball at any level by way of administration

Joy Hooper Trophy  (Outstanding contribution to a league)

The recommendation for the Joy Hooper Award is made for a person who has made a significant contribution to a Hertfordshire netball league.  The recommendation may be made by any HCNA affiliated club in the specific league. 

Netball Teacher Award

Presented to a teacher who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of netball in primary and / or secondary school, outside of their statutory teaching responsibilities.

Maureen Ball (Young Volunteer)

Presented to a young person who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of netball through volunteering.

Herts Long Service

Presented to volunteers who have given selfless outstanding service for 25 years or more by way of administration, coaching or umpiring at county level.
