It''s that time again when Netball East and England Netball need your help to say a massive thank you to our huge volunteer workforce who work tirelessly for netball through their dedication and to recognise their achievements in Netball. It''s that time again when Hertfordshire, Netball East and England Netball need your help to say a massive thank you to our huge volunteer workforce who work tirelessly for netball through their dedication and to recognise their achievements in Netball. The Hertfordshire and Netball East Goalden Globe Awards 2013 nominations are now open!
COUNTY AWARDS
Hertfordshire Netball Association will choose a county winner from each of the 11 competitive county categories. The winners will be announced at the Hertfordshire AGM on Tuesday 4th June 2013. Hertfordshire county winners will then be put forward for the Netball East Goalden Globe Awards 2013 being held on Saturday 15th June 2013.

Goalden Globes 2016

So thats it the time has been and gone to get the glad rags on and attend the 2016 Goalden Globes Awards! Hertfordshire, Netball East and England Netball want to say a massive thank you to our huge volunteer workforce who work tirelessly for netball through their dedication and to recognise their achievements in Netball. I know I speak for all of us when I say a massive congratulations to the lucky winners! Roll on next year! 

County Awards

Hertfordshire County Netball Association have also concluded their awards for 2016! The evening was a fantasic event combining a interesting and informative AGM with a great awards evening. The event was well attended and rewarded a workforce and participating group of all ages and backgrounds. We cant wait for next year, we hope you all enjoyed it!

Eligibility for Future Awards: 

To be eligible, nominees must be affiliated to England Netball via Hertfordshire Netball Association. Recommendations can be made by a Hertfordshire Technical Support Group.

Nominations are also sort for the England Netball Long Service Award. Nominations must be made or seconded by Hertfordshire Association and are awarded nationally in September at the Goalden Globe Awards. The England Netball Long Service Award is presented to volunteers who have given outstanding service for 25 years or more by the way of administration, coaching or umpiring at one or more of the following levels, county, regional, national and international level.

 








 
 

The Daphne Payne Officials Award

Presented to a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to officiating in netball.

 

The Netball Teacher Award

Presented to a teacher who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of netball in primary and / or secondary school, outside of their statutory teaching responsibilities.

The Young Netball Volunteer Award

Presented to a young person who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of netball through volunteering.

The Nextgen Outstanding Netball Club Award

Presented to a netball club which has made an outstanding contribution within their community.

The Rose Award

Preesented to a volunteer or organisation that has made a notable contribution to netball in any capacity which may encompass any aspect of the game and its administration.


The Muriel McNally Award

Presented to a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of netball at grassroots level for 10 years or more.


The Hertfordshire Long Service Award

Prpresented to volunteers who have given selfless outstanding service for 25 years or more by way of administration, coaching or umpiring at county level.

 Jenny Evans Award 

Presented to a coach who has made an outstanding contribution to their club/organisation and progression of netball athletes.

Joy Hooper Trophy

The recommendation for the Joy Hooper Award is made for a person who has made a significant contribution to a Hertfordshire netball league.  The recommendation may be made by any HCNA affiliated club in the specific league.  

Rose Harris Award

Presented to the league, who qualifies the most umpires in a season

Dorothy Broad Award

Presented to a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of netball at any level by way of administration.
